It's been a Barbra Streisand week and everyone in New York has been thrilled about it. It's now easy to put the puzzle together of what has been going on over the last week, with Barbra Streisand, during a major press junket here in New York City. She sat down with interviewers from all over the world and we can now reveal the schedule of upcoming appearances (below).

Tonight at 5pm, the star will make history by taping The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in the very studio where Johnny Carson worked when the show was originally based out of New York. Also at 5pm, The BARBRA STREISAND Channel launches on SiriusXM to the excitement of fans everywhere. If you have Sirius, it's on channel 69, if you're on XM, it's on channel 73 and the content for the next 30 days on this channel is nothing but Streisand. On Sunday evening, the Sirius XM Town Hall that happened earlier in the week with Streisand and Jay Landers, her longtime A&R collaborator, will air. During that Town Hall gathering, fans were allowed to ask Barbra Streisand questions, live and in person, as they had previously been chosen from submissions to the satellite radio network.

Participants were clearly in awe of her as they got the opportunity to speak with her directly and to ask her questions too. One of the memorable openers from a fan was "Miss Streisand - I can now erase #1 on my bucket list by being here in the room with you," to which Streisand replied, "That is so sweet, thank you."

Streisand generously posed for photos with each fan in attendance and then headed into a studio to record intros to songs that fans will be hearing over the month. For Streisand fans, this will be the jackpot. It was also revealed that listeners would be hearing things that they never heard before, including early demos for Yentl with her and Michel Legrand. When she asked Jay Landers 'Where'd you get those?' he quipped back 'I have connections!' which the audience loved. Streisand got a spontaneous standing ovation at the end of the Town Hall and was clearly moved.

The questions varied from FUNNY GIRL to singing with her son Jason, to Elvis Presley, to GYPSY and more, and should provide a dazzling hour or more of listening when it debuts on Sunday night. It's a certainty that people will be signing up to SiriusXM to get access to The BARBRA STREISAND Channel if they don't already have it. The junket and all of these appearances, by New York's hometown girl, are centered around the release of her new recording PARTNERS. Early reviews are sensational and you can read BroadwayWorld.com's by Pat Cerasaro here.
