On Tuesday, April 12, Good Housekeeping, the leading women's magazine, takes center stage with "Shine On," an original 90 minute production saluting inspiring women. The event, hosted by Rebecca Romijn at Radio City Music Hall, will feature performances and presentations from some of the world's most influential women, including two-time Academy Award winner Meryl Streep, and Academy Award winner Goldie Hawn, who will present an award to one of the evening's honorees, Michelle Rhee, former chancellor of the Washington, D.C. school district and founder/CEO of StudentsFirst. Highlights of the evening will include an opening performance by Grammy Award-winner Eve, who was inspired to write an original song for the occasion. Additional honorees, presenters and performers will be revealed in early April.

Good Housekeeping's star-studded event benefits the National Women's History Museum in Washington, D.C., which is dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and celebrating the diverse historic contributions of women. Tickets for the one-night-only show are available for $79.50 and $54.50. Ticket information is available at www.goodhousekeeping.com/shine-on.

"Good Housekeeping is dedicated to informing and inspiring women - in both big and small ways," said Rosemary Ellis, editor-in-chief of Good Housekeeping. "'Shine On' brings our message to life by recognizing women whose imagination, intelligence, and nerve are changing our lives right now."

Sponsored by Maybelline New York and Window World, "Shine On" will be directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge, a Tony Award nominee for Ragtime and the first woman to direct a major musical produced by The Kennedy Center, and will be written by Frank Santopadre, who has created material for personalities including Bill Murray, Matt Lauer, and Donald Trump.

Good Housekeeping has been the go-to resource for generations of women looking for practical strategies and solutions, including time-saving tips; delicious recipes; stylish, affordable fashion; and product research and testing backed by the science of the Good Housekeeping Research Institute. Balancing this rich heritage with a forward-looking attitude has made Good Housekeeping one of the most enduring and respected American brands.

Founded in 1996, The National Women's History Museum is a nonpartisan, nonprofit educational institution dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and celebrating the diverse historic contributions of women, and integrating this rich heritage fully into our nation's history, currently located online at www.nwhm.org. The site of the National Women's History Museum will border several of the nation's most iconic museums, including the National Air and Space Museum, the National American History Museum and the National Gallery of Art. NWHM is a 501(c)(3) organization.
