Servant Stage Company to Present SHERLOCK HOLMES: THE DETECTIVE AND THE DOCTOR

Servant Stage Company, in partnership with The Trust Performing Arts Center, is pleased to announce their original production of "Sherlock Holmes: The Detective and the Doctor." Playing August 25 - September 11, 2016, Sherlock will kick off The Trust's season as the first production of their Theater series.

Fans of the Detective's adventures are sure to be thrilled with this brand new production. Servant Stage Company commissioned local playwright Kristen Brewer to create an original script based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's stories. "She has done a masterful job remaining faithful to the source material," says Johnathan Bauer, Executive Producer of Servant Stage Company. "It's wonderfully witty, and thrilling with fast-paced scenes and dialogue. We are excited to bring this classic story to life and to tackle the challenge of Sherlock Holmes!"

Directed by Bonnie Bosso, the show will feature two area favorites: Dan Deal as Sherlock Holmes and Chris Wert as Dr. Watson. "I am absolutely thrilled to be back with Servant Stage for Sherlock," Bosso said. "Working with Dan and Chris is a dream come true. With a shared history of close to 25 years together, the comfort level is extraordinary and it is a privilege to get to put my stamp on the show."

"Sherlock Holmes: The Detective and The Doctor" will be presenTed August 25 - September 11 in the 80-seat black box theater at The Trust Performing Arts Center, 37 N. Market Street, Downtown Lancaster. Performances on August 25-28 are Pay-What-You-Will and September 1- 11 start at $15.
