On this week's episode of ABC's Smash-Hit Emmy-Winning comedy, MODERN FAMILY, writer and producer Jeffrey Richman penned an homage to his lawyer and long-time friend, Mark Sendroff, by creating an unsettling "Dr. Sendroff."

For anyone in the business who knows Mark D. Sendroff, of N.Y. entertainment law firm Sendroff & Baruch, LLP, is to know just how much he is admired by his clients, who somehow also happen to become his very good friends. It's a testament of time and to Sendroff, himself, who still very much loves what he does every day and can usually be found at theaters, nightclubs, workshops, etc. (from coast to coast and across the Atlantic) at some time, pretty much every day. There's barely a show or project that doesn't always have at least one Sendroff client attached to it.

Legend has it that the year he turned 50, the party that he threw came as close as could be imagined to Truman Capote's famed Black & White Ball. His enormous and extraordinarily diverse list of clients, boast top-tier names in the spotlight, on the sidelines and behind the scenes. At that famed party, they were both onstage and in the audience, along with family and friends.

If you don't know who Mark Sendroff is, GOOGLE him and knock yourself out!

We've got video for you here and only heard about it when we were alerted on our message boards that he posted on his Facebook page "If you should hear my name mentioned on MODERN FAMILY this evening (9PM on ABC), it's my long-awaited birthday present from my pal, Jeffrey Richman, the show's Executive Producer and Writer. Thanks in advance, Jeffrey!" to Wednesday night's episode of MODERN FAMILY, so we tuned in.

Client and friend,Jeffrey Richman, began his career, in New York, as a performer and has become a much sought-after writer in Hollywood. He won an Emmy for his work on FRASIER and is partnered to John Benjamin Hickey. The mantle at home must look nice with the awards they have both gathered over the years.

Nice work, Mark!
