Yesterday, in honor of the first week of May, HAMILTON creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda shared a video of his performance as part of his junior-year "Expresiones Latino" talent show at Wesleyan University in Connecticut.

Miranda Tweeted:

Gmorning!
So "it's gonna be May" is a thing.
Can 20 year old me join the fun? https://t.co/AnYFPf3Zp6

Below, watch him put a Latin spin on the pop hits of the day, including *NSYNC's "It's Gonna Be Me", with help from dancers Yesenia Rivera and Dawn Papacena and more!

Miranda's HAMILTON nabbed a record-breaking 16 Tony Award nominations this morning. He is currently performing on Broadway in the lead role of Alexander Hamilton and is a 2015 recipient of the MacArthur "Genius" Award. HAMILTON is also the recipient of the 2016 Edward Kennedy Prize for Drama and the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Miranda has also written the music and lyrics for the musical IN THE HEIGHTS, which opened on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in March 2008. His written work for the show earned him numerous accolades, including the 2008 Tony Award for Best Original Score and the 2009 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. Miranda's performance in the show's lead role of 'Usnavi' earned him a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical.
