Kristin Chenoweth might not have made her Broadway debut until 1997's Steel Pier, but she was sharing her musical gifts with the world long before then. In the video, watch highlights from Miss Oklahoma 1991, in which Chenoweth competes as 'Miss Oklahoma City University' and sings "Art Is Calling for Me."

The 44-year-old recently appeared on this year's Academy Awards show, joining host Seth MacFarlane in an uproarious duet which paid tribute to the night's losers. She will next be seen on the big screen in the dark comedy 'Family Weekend,' opposite Matthew Modine. The film arrives in theaters on March 29th.

The Tony award winner is currently attached to several upcoming Broadway projects, including a stage adaptation of the Cult 1991 comedy Soapdish, a revival of On the Twentieth Century and a new musical based on the life of televagelist Tammy Faye Bakker.
