Shelby Company presents the award-winning playwright Jonathan A. Goldberg's critically acclaimed play SOUSEPAW: A BASEBALL STORY directed by Courtney Ulrich at 2015's FringeNYC.

SOUSEPAW will play at 64e4 Underground (64 E. 4thStreet New York, NY 10003) at: Tonight, August 18th @17:15PM; Thursday August 20th @ 8:45PM; Sunday August 23rd @ 12:00 PM; Wednesday August 26th @ 7:00PM; and Friday August 28th @ 5:00PM.

Sousepaw is written by award-winning playwright Jonathan A. Goldberg (Real Dead Ghosts) and directed by Courtney Ulrich (White Hot). The design team includes April Bartlett (scenic), Dan Henry (lighting) and Deanna Frieman (costumes). It is produced by Shelby Company.

The cast features James B. Kennedy (Couples Counseling) as Rube Waddell and Christina Pumariega (Seminar on Broadway) in her Innovative Theater Award nominated performance as Reptile Girl.

Winner of the Best of SF Fringe 2011, SOUSEPAW recounts the true story of famed baseball pitcher Rube Waddell as he tries to make a comeback to major league baseball. He's known for his wild pranks and a childlike love of fire trucks and zoo animals; however, he's also famous as a fall down drunk. Ready to put it all behind him for this one last chance, he hires the Reptile Girl from the circus to keep him company - and sober. Sousepaw has played to sold out audiences and rave reviews across the country. Shelby Company is thrilled to bring the show to FringeNYC.
