Piano Bar "is set around the closing night of Floyd's, a fictional New York City piano bar that's being razed to make way for the latest Rite Aid. But before the last note is sung, the bar's zany staff and patrons are hosting one last surprise party-cabaret show. It's a raucous musical  celebration between audience and cast that draws on classic music from  American Pop, musical theatre, cabaret and TV sitcom genres in a cabaret venue where cocktails and refreshments are sold."  The musical features lyrics and book by Stephen Cole (who co-directs with Diane Puzello), and music and musical direction by Matthew Ward.  Cole (Night of the Hunter) and Ward previously collaborated on After the Fair.

The cast features Viola Harris, David Hibbard, Susan J. Jacks, Joy Lynn Matthews, Cathy Trien, and Matthew Ward.

Tickets are $18 and can be ordered by calling (212) 352-3101 or by logging onto www.theatermania.com. There is a two drink minimum.
