Jim Caruso's Cast Party at Birdland was the place to be on Monday night! After the Natalie Douglas tribute to the songs of Lena Horne, more stars came out to celebrate Gerard Allesendrini and Michael Portantiere's new book, "Forbidden Broadway: Behind The Mylar Curtain."

Former FB stars like Ron Bohmer, Nora Mae Lyng, Christina Bianco, Gina Kreiezmar, Michael West, James Donegan, and Roxie Lucas all performed their signature numbers from the show, as did Mr. Allesandrini himself! Of course, long-time Forbidden musical director David Caldwell accompanied the folks at the piano. Also taking part in Cast Party, the long-running open mic, were Broadway, television and movie folks like Stephanie J. Block (9 To 5), Jen Cody (On The Town), Hunter Foster (Ordinary Days), Michael Winther (33 Variations), Manu Narayan (Bombay Dreams), Jason Graae (LA's Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks), Erich Bergen ("Gossip Girl"), Klea Blackhurst (Everything The Traffic Will Allow), Annaleen Beachy (West End Wicked), Christine Pedi (Newsical The Musical), Michael Leon Wooley ("The Princess & The Frog"), Peter Bartlett ("The Princess & The Frog"), who all showed up to sing and/or watch the fun...even Village Voice columnist Michael Musto was seen surveying the Cast Party antics.

The night before, The Broadway Boys were part of the Broadway at Birdland series, with very special guest Shoshana Bean, showing off smooth harmonies and brassy belting!
