Direct from a sold out performance at Joe's Pub, and his 2 year national tour, Phantom of the Opera star Franc D'Ambrosio will take the stage at the Metropolitan Room, Thursday through Sunday, September 21st - 24th, with "Franc D'Ambrosio's Broadway."

Written and directed by Abe Reybold with musical direction by Jeff Buchsbaum, as well as arrangements by Reybold & John Boswell, "Franc D'Ambrosio's Broadway" brings "The World's Longest Running Phantom" to the Metropolitan Room.

D'Ambrosio portrayed the famed masked man for almost 3,000 performances, on the national tour and for five years in San Francisco.  After making his Broadway debut in the first revival of Sweeney Todd, he played Anthony Corleone in The Godfather Part 3 (and is the first and only person to ever sing Carmine Coppola's Godfather theme in the film trilogy). The Phantom of the Opera followed.

He is currently the #1 selling and touring artist on the LML Music label and in November 2005, received a "Grammy Consideration for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album" for "Franc D'Ambrosio's Broadway."

In addition to his shows at Metropolitan Room, D'Ambrosio will also make a special performance/signing appearance at Tower Records, Lincoln Center, on Wednesday, September 20th at 6pm, as part of the "Any Wednesday at Tower" series.

The show will play: Thurs. at 9:30pm, and Fri.-Sun. at 8pm.  The Metropolitan Room is located at 34 West 22nd Street (between 5th and 6th).  There is a $25 cover/2 drink minimum.  Call (212)206-0440  or visit www.metropolitanroom.com for tickets.
