Mr. Howard was a creative presence on Broadway from his early role as an assistant on the original My Fair Lady to his later work as a dance arranger on the well received Minnelli On Minnelli , in between his career showcased his talents as a music director, dance supervisor, composer and conductor on such classic Broadway musicals as Annie, Barnum, 1776, Minnie's Boys, Chicago (both the OB and Revival), The Tap Dance Kid, Crazy For You and Swinging on a Star among many, many others. 

He was remembered by MAC award winning performer Richard Skipper as "A great man, Broadway is much better because of him".

Until his death this past week he had a been a resident at the Actors Fund Home in Englewood, New Jersey.
