Parks joins Bike and Roll NYC for a 5th Anniversary Celebration

Parks & Recreation Commissioner Adrian Benepe today joined Bike and Roll NYC President Chris Wogas, Lincoln Square Business Improvement District President Monica Blum, and Bike and Roll owners Darryl White, Stephen Marks, and Josh Squires at Bike and Roll's Tavern on the Green location to celebrate Bike and Roll NYC's 5th anniversary and launch their new Hop On/Hop Off Program.

"New York City's cyclists have long known that using our more than 100 miles of greenways is one of the best ways to stay in shape while enjoying the beauty of the natural world," said Parks Commissioner Adrian Benepe. "Thanks to Bike and Roll's new Hop On/Hop Off program, visitors to New York will also be able to take advantage of this ‘green way' to experience the city and its parks"

Hop On/Hop Off allows Bike and Roll NYC cyclists to tour the city by bicycle and return their rental to any of Bike and Roll NYC's 11 locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn. With nine locations in New York City's parks, the Hop On/Hop Off program gives Bike and Roll's cyclists unprecedented freedom and flexibility.
