Kenny Mellman, Bridget Everett and Neal Medlyn premiere two shows at THE Zipper Factory Theater in December.

The Zipper Factory Theater (located at 336 West 37th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues) proudly announces the following shows premiering in December:
OUR HIT PARADE A New York Premiere
Starring Kenny Mellman, Bridget Everett & Neal Medlyn.
OUR HIT PARADE is a countdown of Today's Top Hits, performed by the hosts and special guests, including Adam Dugas, Johnny McGovern, Billy Eichner, Jim Andralis and Larry Krone, Will Schwartz (of the band hey willpower), VIDS and more.

OUR HIT PARADE is a live top ten countdown show created by Tony nominee and Obie winner Kenny Mellman, carnal chanteuse Bridget Everett, pop song opera impresario Neal Medlyn, producer and MTV cameraman Brendan Kennedy, and writers Ada Calhoun and Peter Schjeldahl.

The show is inspired by the musical sketch series "Your Hit Parade" that ran on radio and then television from 1935 to 1959. On that show, cast members performed the week's most popular songs as comically literal skits. In this show, stars from the downtown performance world will present their renditions of the week's hits live on stage! Whatever is at the top of the charts -- be it Rihanna, T-Pain or "High School Musical" -- that's what will be performed. Come see the hottest songs in America interpreted by the hottest musicians, artists, writers, actors and comedians in New York!

OUR HIT PARADE was previously performed before a sold out crowd at the 2008 TBA Festival in Portland Oregon. The Zipper Factory Theater is proud to host the New York premiere, a special year end edition.

CHRISTMAS, WHERE ARE YOU?

The World Premiere of An All-New, All-Christian Music Show

Starring Bridget Everett, Kenny Mellman, Neal Medlyn and Carmine Covelli

On December 14, 2008 at 7:00 p.m., Kenny Mellman, Bridget Everett, Neal Medlyn and Carmine Covelli will unveil CHRISTMAS, WHERE ARE YOU? at The Zipper Factory Theater. CHRISTMAS, WHERE ARE YOU? is an all-new show they've written about a Christian contemporary music family and their holiday TV special.

A Christian contemporary music family reunites to tape a holiday TV special at home: the long absent sister (Everett), her two brothers (Mellman and Medlyn) and her son (Covelli), who set out to brighten the hearts and souls of their audience through sacred song.

Composed of songs from contemporary Christian greats like 2nd Chapter of Acts, Sandi Patti, Shirley Ceasar, Amy Grant and R. Kelly, come watch our family take your calls and sing songs of hope, faith, love, ex-gay rehabilitation, crystal meth addiction and holiday cheer!
