California Musical Theatre announced the 2014-15 Broadway Sacramento season at Community Center Theater, a varied lineup featuring the Sacramento premiere of three hit musicals, two blockbusters brought back due to popular demand and a classic musical that has been produced at Music Circus but never before part of the Broadway Sacramento season.

From the return engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning mega-hit musical Jersey Boys, the story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, through the magic of the brand new Tony-winning production of the classic tale Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella, the 25th Anniversary Broadway Sacramento Season features an exciting lineup. The season also includes Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage, the high-energy musical based on the beloved 1987 movie; a new production of the ever-popular Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice hit Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, featuring two stars from American Idol and Broadway fame; the return of the audience favorite RAIN: A Tribute to The Beatles, in a newly expanded version of the show; and eight-time Tony Award-winner Once, an unforgettable and unique musical based on the 2007 Academy Award-winning film. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat has been produced five times at Music Circus, but has not been in the Broadway Sacramento season.

Broadway Sacramento, sponsored by Wells Fargo and presented by the nonprofit California Musical Theatre, is the largest performing arts event in the Capital Region. All performances are at the Community Center Theater, 1301 L Street, in downtown Sacramento.

Season tickets go on sale Monday, April 14 at 10:00 a.m. Current season subscribers will receive renewal packets in the mail by that day, and will have until June 6 to renew their season tickets and keep their seat locations. Subscribers will be able to opt out of RAIN: A Tribute to the Beatles, making a five-show subscription, which ranges from $111.10 to $330.20, depending on performance day/time and seating location. Single-show tickets will go on sale in late summer or early fall.
