Nordstrom Rack Opens New Store in Madison

Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc. announced plans to open a Nordstrom Rack at West Towne Crossing, a power center adjacent to the West Towne Mall in Madison, Wis. The approximately 30,750-square-foot store is scheduled to open in fall 2014. West Towne Mall and West Towne Crossing are owned and managed by CBL & Associates Properties, Inc..

Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, Inc., offering customers a wide selection of on-trend apparel, accessories and shoes at an everyday savings of 30-70 percent off regular prices. The Rack carries merchandise from Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com and specially-purchased items from many of the top brands sold at Nordstrom. The Rack is designed to provide the ultimate treasure hunt to style-savvy customers.

This will be the company's second retail location in Wisconsin, about an hour west of Milwaukee. Nordstrom Rack is set to open at the Mayfair Collection in Wauwatosa this spring.

Located off Highway 12/14 at Gammon Road, the new Nordstrom Rack will move into a space formerly occupied by Gander Mountain Outlet and join a strong mix of retailers such as Ulta, Best Buy, Metcalfe's and Kohl's, among others.
