Broadway stars Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, Bonnie & Clyde, West Side Story) and Morgan James (Godspell, The Addams Family, Wonderland) will offer musical theatre master classes this July at The Davenport Studios in Midtown Manhattan.

After dazzling audiences on Broadway with his star-making performances in Newsies and Bonnie & Clyde, and bursting onto the big screen inthe film Joyful Noise, 2012 Tony Award nominee Jeremy Jordan will be on hand to work one-on-one with a select group of actors on songs of their choice on Friday, July 13th from 2-6pm. During this 4-hour intensive, Jordan will focus on technique, approach, and interpretation to bring participants’ artistry to the next level. Tuition is $125 for participants and $40 for auditors.

Renowned concert artist and Broadway star Morgan James, who most recently made her mark singing “Turn Back, O Man” in Godspell on Broadway, will share her experience and work directly with participants on Friday, July 26th from 6:30 to 10:30pm. Tuition is $60 for participants and $30 for auditors.

After a critically acclaimed performance at the Papermill Playhouse, Jeremy Jordan returns to Broadway in Newsies as the charismatic leader Jack Kelly (Tony nomination). He recently starred opposite Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah in the gospel hit Joyful Noise, and also shot some folks as Clyde Barrow in Bonnie & Clyde on Broadway. At home on the Broadway, concert and rock stages Morgan James is one of the country’s most sought-after singers. She is a versatile vocalist, easily maneuvering between genres. As a solo artist, she has played to sold-out crowds at popular NY nightspots such as Birdland, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola at Lincoln Center, Dominion, Joe’s Pub, Le Poisson Rouge, and Rockwood Music Hall. Morgan is a graduate of The Juilliard School in New York City where she received her BM in Voice.

Her Broadway credits include the current Broadway revival of Godspell (singing “Turn Back, O Man”), and the original casts of Frank Wildhorn's Wonderland (where she covered Alice), and The Addams Family, starring Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth. Regional theatre credits include leading roles at Barrington Stage Company, Paper Mill Playhouse, The O’Neill Theatre Center, and Arizona Theatre Company. Morgan was a featured soloist in Bernstein’s MASS with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Marin Alsop) at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.

A veteran of commercials and voice-overs, in addition to her extensive theatre and concert career, she has participated in numerous workshops and readings of new theatre works. Her discography includes the Broadway cast recordings of Godspell, Wonderland, The Addams Family, the concept albums of The Little Princess and Tears from Heaven, and is featured on several composer and artist albums.
