The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) announced more songwriters and songs for the NAMT Songwriter Spotlight concert September 7th at 7:00 PM, part of Jim Caruso's Broadway at Birdland series.

Farah Alvin (I Love You Because) and Kate Wetherhead (Legally Blonde) have joined the line?up for the Labor Day concert, which also features Broadway stars Kate Baldwin (Finian's Rainbow), Jenn Colella (High Fidelity), Kerry O'Malley (White Christmas), Charlie Pollock (9 to 5), Steve Rosen (Guys and Dolls), Wesley Taylor (Rock of Ages), Josh Young, and more.

The Labor Day concert will now feature songs from Adam Gwon (Ordinary Days), Tommy Newman & Mark Allen (Tinyard Hill, Band Geeks!) and Sean Mahoney & Creighton Irons (Factory Girls) in addition to the previously announced sets by Dan Lipton & David Rossmer (Joe!) and Brad Alexander & Adam Mathias (See Rock City & Other Destinations), including two exclusive sneak peeks of this year's Festival of New Musicals. The writers will discuss their shows and invite their Broadway pals to perform their songs. NAMT's Festival of New Musicals has showcased hits like Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Drowsy Chaperone, Honk, and Children of Eden. A portion of the proceeds from the concert will support NAMT, a not?for?profit organization, and NAMT's New Works programs including the 21st Annual Festival of New Musicals taking place in October.

Come enjoy a fun evening of song and celebrate these talented writers from 20 years of NAMT Festivals! Don't forget to reserve your seats now as we are starting to sell out fast!
