New York City native Mischka Velasco will feature "String Theory" for her fourth Manhattan runway show.

"It is my life of being. Drape it, the way I intend it, it intends me to do it... gives me peace. Making a dress is something I will do in my final days with my dress form and fabric and I will stay draping," says Velasco.

Among fashions freshest and brightest, Velasco's fashion design talent delivers cutting edge modernity and raw creativity. "My fashion skills were not shaped just by design school but also by teaching myself." A fiery talent to watch, Velasco will present her Women's and Men's Fashion Ready-to-Wear Collections on February 10th at 5:00pm during New York Fashion Week Fall 2014.. Fortified by meditation and prayer, this collection highlights the spiritual inspirations of upscale, understated beauty.

Through one-of-a-kind vision and craftsmanship, Mischka Velasco uses textile combinations such as cashmere and silk dupioni to create a collection that is raw elegant draping, sometimes linear, yet soft and feminine for the women's collection but also includes cool hidden pockets from bold plaid colorized prints for menswear. The enthusiastic response to this brand new collection will bring out Celebrities as well as other surprise guests.
