Mike Starr, best known as the gruff bowling alley employee Kenny on TV's "Ed," will join the cast of the hit Broadway production of THE ODD COUPLE, directed by Joe Mantello, on Tuesday, January 3 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street). He will be taking over the role of Murray the cop, currently played by Brad Garrett.

Mike Starr is a well-know veteran of over 50 feature films including "The Black Dahlia" (to be released Spring 2006), "Goodfellas," "The Ice Harvest," "Elvis Has Left the Building," "Mad Dog and Glory," "Ed Wood," "Dumb and Dumber," "Gloria," "Snake Eyes," "The Bodyguard," "Billy Bathgate," "Lean on Me," "The Natural," "Uncle Buck," "Two If by Sea," "Millers Crossing," "Summer of Sam," "The Next Big Thing," and "Monkeybone." On Broadway, he appeared in "The Guys in the Truck" and "Requiem for a Heavyweight."

THE ODD COUPLE stars Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick, and featured in the cast are Rob Bartlett, Olivia d'Abo, Peter Frechette, Jessica Stone, and Lee Wilkof.

The playing schedule for THE ODD COUPLE is Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8 p.m., with matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets: Ticketmaster.com / 212-307-4100.
