Michael C. Hall on Starring in Netflix's DAREDEVIL: 'I Would Definitely Consider It'

Netflix and Marvel Studios recently announced that they will soon be streaming a new series featuring Marvel's beloved superhero, DAREDEVIL. According to on-line gossip site Joblo.com, Michael C. Hall is currently in consideration to star in the title role.

The actor, who is currently starring in the new Broadway show The Realistic Joneses, recently addressed rumors of his involvement with the project. "I've heard them, but I think that's all they are - rumors," said Hall, but added, "Don't misunderstand, I would definitely consider it ... but I can't tell you any inside information, because I think they're nothing but rumors."

Asked if he would be ready to make a return to TV so soon after the recent finale of his hit series 'Dexter', the actor replied, "I really am enjoying mixing it up a little bit, and I'm committing to things that have a foreseeable end in sight when I start them." He continued, "but I wouldn't rule out the possibility of [a new series] happening at some point. But I'd have to read the script!"

DAREDEVIL is slated for a 2015 release on Netflix.

The Realistic Joneses, written by Will Eno opened on Sunday, April 6, 2014, at the Lyceum Theatre (149 W 45th Street).

The Realistic Joneses stars Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner, Academy Award and Tony Award-nominee Toni Collette ("Hostages," "United States of Tara," The Sixth Sense, The Wild Party), Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award-winner Michael C. Hall ("Dexter," Chicago, "Six Feet Under"), Tony Award-winner Tracy Letts (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?; August: Osage County; "Homeland"), and Academy Award-winner and Golden Globe-nominee Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny; The Wrestler; Salomé).

The production is directed by Obie Award-winner Sam Gold, who recently received critical acclaim for his production of Fun Home at the Public Theater. It has scenic design by David Zinn, costumes by Kaye Voyce, lighting by Mark Barton, and sound by Leon Rothenberg.
