Danish band Efterklang (translation: "remembrance" and/or "reverberation") plays the music from its new album Piramida (release date September 25). For this collaboration with the 16-member Wordless Music Orchestra and guest conductor Matthew Coorey, Efterklang has engaged composers Missy Mazzoli, Karsten Fundal, and Daníel Bjarnason to create arrangements of the music of Piramida for the ensemble with orchestra.

For this special concert, Efterklang (Mads Brauer, Casper Clausen, Rasmus Stolberg) will perform as a six-piece ensemble, augmented by Peter Broderick (piano), Katinka Fogh Vindelev (choir), and special guest Budgie (drums). Visit http://efterklang.net for a video and more news about Piramida.
Tickets: $25
