Local digital artist and creative director at Art Gallery of Viera, Jerry Hanzl, is hosting his first group art show. Of Artists and Friends will be on display in the Harris Corporation Art Gallery at the King Center for the Performing Arts from today, January 6th through February 9th, 2014.

This fine art show will be a blend of art and artists from across Brevard and will feature painting, drawing, photography, digital art, metal works, silk and stained glass. Four other directors fromArt Gallery of Viera; Jeanette Drake, Helen Wheatley, Rebecca Gomme and J Susan Cole Stone, will also be presenting their finest works of art. Several other artists including David Cruey,Laura Kucheryson and Ellen Chaput will be showing in a major venue for the first time,. SloanKeats, the winner of this year's Brush with Success competition at the gallery and Stephen Lamazzo from Off Center Art Center are a few of many other invited guest artists.

Jerry's own art is highly surrealistic and can be expressed as 'Painting with photography on a 'digital canvas'. See more of his fantasy visions on his website www.digitalartbyjerry.com.
