Lincoln Center Theater has announced that is has been forced to cancel tonight's (Sunday, October 28) 7pm performance of the LCT3 production of DISGRACED at the Claire Tow Theater due to the incoming storm and the shutdown of the New York City transit system tonight at 7pm. Today's 2pm matinee of DISGRACED will be performed as scheduled.

The show has also been forced to cancel tomorrow's (Monday, October 29) 7pm performance of the LCT3 production of DISGRACED, in addition to tonight's (Sunday, October 28).

Ticket holders to the cancelled performances should return their tickets to their point of purchase for a refund or exchange.

The Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 production of DISGRACED, the new play by Ayad Akhtar, directed by Kimberly Senior, has been extended through Sunday, December 2 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street). The production, which features Heidi Armbruster, Erik Jensen, Aasif Mandvi, Omar Maskati and Karen Pittman, was originally scheduled to run through November 18. DISGRACED is produced by arrangement with The Araca Group.

DISGRACED is the story of Amir Kapoor (Aasif Mandvi), a successful Pakistani-American lawyer who is rapidly moving up the corporate ladder while distancing himself from his cultural roots. When Amir and his wife Emily (Heidi Armbruster), a white artist influenced by Islamic paintings, host a dinner party, what starts out as a friendly conversation escalates into something far more damaging.

Tickets to DISGRACED, priced at $20 for all performances, are available at the Lincoln Center Theater box office, at telecharge.com or by visiting www.LCT3.org.
