Initial performers have been announced for the next installment of the Broadway Sings concert series at the Highline Ballroom. Broadway Sings Sara Bareilles will feature Finding Neverland star Laura Michelle Kelly, Alysha Umphress from On the Town, Beautiful's Jessica Keenan Wynn, and Drew Gehling, currently starring in Bareilles' Broadway-Bound musical Waitress at American Repertory Theatre. A cast of 15 Broadway stars will sing completely new arrangements of the singer-songwriter's greatest hits, accompanied by a string orchestra playing original orchestrations. Previous shows in the series included Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Justin Timberlake, and P!NK.

Also featured will be Alysha Deslorieux (Hamilton), Christine Dwyer (Wicked), Aaron LaVigne (Spider Man: Turn off the Dark), Douglas Lyons(Beautiful), Corey Mach (Godspell), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia!), Ben Thompson (Matilda the Musical), Natalie Weiss (Everyday Rapture), the acappella group RANGE, and more to be announced at a later date.

The concert will give tribute to the pop singer's iconic songs, including "Brave", "Love Song", "King of Anything", and "Gravity". The music will be orchestrated and arranged by Joshua Stephen Kartes.

Broadway Sings Sara Bareilles, produced and directed by Corey Mach (Godspell, Wicked), will celebrate the success and talent of this jazzy, soulful artist. More information about the series can be found online: www.BroadwaySingsConcert.com

Sara Bareilles achieved mainstream success in 2007 with the hit single "Love Song", which reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. She has sold over one million records and over seven million singles in the United States alone. She has been nominated for five Grammy Awards, including a nomination for Album of the Year, the most prestigious award in the music industry. She also made her theatrical songwriting debut this summer, writing the music for the new Broadway-Bound musical Waitress at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, MA, directed by Tony Award Winner Diane Paulus (Pippin, Finding Neverland).
