LARD DOG & THE BAND OF SHY to Hit The PIT This Saturday

Bring the whole family out and laugh the rainy day way this Saturday at People's Improv Theater, where it's going to be a wild and wacky afternoon of all-ages fun with LARD DOG & THE BAND OF SHY @ 2:00PM.

Tomorrow, Lard Dog & The Band of Shy are playing their 2nd show in their spring run of Life's A Real Dream at People's Improv Theater which runs 5/6-6/10 (full schedule below). The band's spring run will also include both a grow-ups only show and a special autism friendly show as well as *new* tunes from their 2017 Song of the Month Project.

Also please note the introduction of Sharaé Moultrie in the guest-star role as Honey Babe in the upcoming performances at PIT. About this new endeavor, Sharaé says, "I'm thrilled! Life IS a Real Dream, and I'm just getting started!"

Life's A Real Dream is an all-ages musical extravaganza that promotes positive messages of creativity, acceptance, and frivolity - with massive amounts of absurdism thrown in. The show has evolved into an NYC family favorite and with their quirky lyrics and infectious tunes the band has drawn comparisons to Devo, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Pee Wee Herman, and the B52's.

So mark it on the calendar and beat the rainy Saturday blues with an afternoon of laughter, frivolity and fun with some of the most clever family entertainment NYC has to offer this Saturday at People's Improv Theater!
