Kaz Kojima Announces USA - Japan Goodwill Concert at Carnegie Hall, 4/16

Kaz Kojima has announced the USA-Japan Goodwill Concert at Carnegie Hall - Stern Auditorium on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 8PM. The concert will benefit Japan earthquake victims and feature performances by the Goshiki Sakura Chorus from Japan and The Westerchester Chordsmen. Coro Fenice from Japan will also perform.

Goshiki Sakura Chorus are from the Arakawa Boro of Tokyo, an area renowned for their cherry blossom trees. The chorus will sing songs composed for this Carnegie Hall event to honor the 100 year anniversary of Japan's gift to the U.S. of 3,000 young cherry trees as a symbol of friendship.

The chorus is also scheduled to perform at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C.
The Westchester Chordsmen is a renowned male chorus based in Westchester, New York, dedicated to the singing of the finest Barbershop music out there. 

The Westchester Chordsmen was founded and chartered in June of 1953 and is a proud member of the Barbershop Harmony Society. In it's over 50 years of existence, the Chorus has regularly put on performances, twice a year, and has travelled around the world and the country performing. http://chordsmen.org/
