According to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Burlesque (b?r?lesk) is perhaps the best entertainment enjoyed by carbon-based life forms. While the act of removing ones clothes in front of an audience of inebriated perverts may sound simplistic, audiences throughout the universe report that the spectacle is as captivating as viewing the quadruple rainbows of Galtitaia's 3rd moon and can be more exciting than the effects of licking a plague of Thelestian Tree frogs while sipping on a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster.

Zaphod Beeblebrox and Ford Prefect have decided Earth is the place to party. Improbably, the improbability drive on The Heart of Gold is damaged as they crash land on the roof of The Home for Wayward Girls and Fallen Women, threatening to destroy the planet, or worse, ruin Zaphod's entertainment for the evening.

Come on out for a night of incredible entertainment starring: Cherry Pitz, Corvette Leface, Dank Wyfront (Brief Sweat's English cousin), Handsome Brad, Matt Knife, Rosie Cheeks, frequent The Moth host as Peter Aguero as Zaphod Beeblebrox and Dandy Dillinger as Eccentrica Gallumbits.

Following on the footsteps of Hotsy Totsy Burlesque's successful Doctor Who, Mad Men, Game of Thrones and Star Wars 1978 Holiday Special tribute shows, Cherry Pitz and Joe the Shark present a brand new burlesque tribute to Douglas Adams beloved series, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. We are New York's only episodic, monthly burlesque show featuring a different script each month and a rotating cast. Hotsy Totsy is a high camp soap opera featuring some of the best burlesque talent New York has to offer.

Every month you are invited to the basement of The Home For Wayward Girls and Fallen Women. The residents of the home need money to keep their hotel open and to buy G-strings and glitter. Sadly, the shows have had their technical difficulties and in the past as they've had to combat evil robots, dragons, Lord Voldemort, Don Drapper, mutants, zombies, gangsters, human-animal hybrids, televangelists and snake oil salesmen. The performers promise you beautiful, clothing-averse women, lots of laughs, spinning tassels, and flying underpants. So join us for Hotsy Totsy Burlesque at The Home For Wayward Girls and Fallen Women where the motto is "We've fallen, we can't get up, and we like it that way!"
