Tonight, May 12, composer/lyricist Michael Mott will present an evening of original work, sung by some of Broadway's best and brightest talents in "Write Now: The Music of Michael Mott." In addition to Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, NBC's "Smash"), Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), and Ashley Spencer (Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Rock of Ages), Michael will be joined by Michael Hunsaker (Faustus), Marissa McGowan (A Little Night Music, Bonnie & Clyde), Jacqueline Petroccia (Lincoln Center's Carousel).

Described as "an eclectic evening of soaring ballads, quirky comedy numbers and catchy pop tunes, 'Write Now' will features songs from Michael's original musicals, Faustus and The Life of A Mob Wife as well as several stand alone pop, jazz and swing songs." Directed by Brandon Ivie (A Christmas Story and First Date), music direction by Jeff Theiss (Lysistrata Jones), and produced by Shoshana Feinstein.

Michael Mott is currently a first year student at the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop. His musicals "Faustus" and "The Life of a Mob Wife" have received several industry readings in NYC and he has played sold out concerts in Chicago with his musical, "Faustus."
