ComingSoon.net says HOUSE OF CARDS' Corey Stoll is being courted for a role in Marvel's upcoming live-action adaptation of ANT-MAN. No word yet on who he would play.

The movie stars Paul Rudd, along with Michael Douglas and Michel Pena. Patrick Wilson and Evangeline Lilly are also in negotiations to join the cast.

Edgar Wright will direct the film from a script he co-wrote with Joe Cornish. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige will produce the film with Nira Park.

Ant-Man is scheduled to be released by Walt Disney Pictures on July 31, 2015.

Stoll's upcoming film projects include This Is Where I Leave You, The Good Lie, Glass Chin, Dark Places and Anesthesia. He has appeared on Broadway in Henry IV, Old Acquaintance and A View From the Bridge.
