Group IV will make its debut with the New York premiere of Walter Wyke's The Spotted Man for two free outdoor performances tonight and tomorrow, September 25-26 at 8 at Billy's Backyard (190 Jefferson St.) in Bushwick.

The Spotted Man begins when a man walks into a doctor's examining room with an apparent case of mysterious spots that no one else can see. Chaos follows.

Billy's Backyard will be transformed into a symbolist examining room with the audience immersed in a mad-cap, absurdist world where nothing is the way it seems. "Today, we're stuck in a world with no shame. Fallacies gain the most power" said director William Gaffney IV on the one-act's relevance.

Gaffney directs a cast featuring Jared Sigler, Melissa Aquiles, and Sarah Gwynne Walker with Lucca Damilano costuming and Charles Quittner producing.
