Former Public Theater Production Manager Vincent DeMarco Passes Away at 43

Vincent DeMarco, former Production Manager at The Public Theater & Managing Partner of Kelvin Productions, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at the age of 43, after a 3-and-a-half year battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family and is finally no longer suffering or in pain.

Vincent worked professionally in the entertainment industry for over 25 years, beginning his career as a stage manager and moving into the field of production management in 2000, as the Associate Production Manager at the Joseph Papp Public Theater/NYSF. At the Public, he worked on the original productions of Caroline or Change, Topdog/Underdog, Take Me Out & The Wild Party.

In 2004, Vincent left the Public to begin a freelance career as a Production Manager & in 2005, formed Kelvin Productions which he called "Your first and last stop for all your production needs." In 2008, Aaron Grant joined Vinny at Kelvin Productions, where the two of them worked from their midtown office on numerous productions for various non-profits and commercial producers. At the time of his death, Vinny and Aaron were working on several Broadway & Off-Broadway productions.

He is survived by his wife Amy and his parents.

Vincent DeMarco's wake is on Tuesday, January 8th 2-5pm & 7-9pm, at Torregrossa & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 79th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11228 (718-232-8844), with the funeral set for Wednesday, January 9th at Our Lady Star of the Sea, 5411 Amboy Road, Staten Island, NY 10312 (718-984-0593).
