Dreamgirls, Directed by Harney, to Play in Brooklyn
Theatergoers will have a last chance to see Dreamgirls, the celebrated award-winning musical, in a limited run at the Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts before the highly publicized release of the film version in December.
Directed by Tony-Award winner Ben Harney, co-star of the original Broadway production, Dreamgirls is based on the hit musical about the rise of a trio of black female soul singers in the early 1960s.

Presently she handles production duties behind the scenes at BET J," state press notes.
