I have to admit I have never thought of Max Mara as cool or chic before. It's a store my mother would always shop in. Not that my mother doesn't have amazing taste but it was just, you know, my mom. So I've either grown up (eek!) or they've gotten way younger with their styling and fashion. I think I prefer the latter. I mean, if Catherine Duchess of Cambridge favors the label, it must be young and chic, no?

And Max Mara can get pretty pricey - again, my mom shops there. Some of my favorite picks are the purple "Zenica" wrap dress (the Duchess wore a patterned version recently) and the blazers. To me, Max Mara is like Italian Theory but better quality. Very classic and feminine with a touch of flair.
