KINKY BOOTS collaborators Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein recently revealed that they are looking forward to working together on another musical. Their chief aim for this upcoming project is to showcase "older female entertainers."

Fierstein told LA Times, "There's a ton of women who don't work, who are great performers," Fierstein said. "I'm looking forward to writing something that would allow them to really shine." He added, "And we'll keep looking - until we find the right project."

Lauper also said that her latest project involves more dance music singles and possibly another memoir, this one depicting her childhood.
