Constantine Maroulis to Teach Master Class at Reno Little Theatre, 3/7

On Friday March 7th, Angel Reed, Executive Director of Studio 7Arts, will be bringing American Idol and Tony nominee, Constantine Maroulis, as a Guest Teaching Artist to Reno Little Theatre. Maroulis, a graduate of the Boston Conservatory, was 6th runner up on Season 4 of American Idol. He performed Bohemian Rhapsody, which has been held in the top 10 of all time performances on American Idol. Maroulis later went on to star in Rock of Ages on Broadway and received a Tony nomination for Best Actor and most recently starred in the revival of Jekyll & Hyde on Broadway in the title role.

Maroulis will be teaching a Master Class for teens from 5-6:30pm, adults 6:30-8pm, followed by a talk back and meet and greet from 8-9pm. Aspiring singers and actors are encouraged to attend.

$20 Discount for college students, professionals and those who are currently in a company.

Pricing is: $75 for Teen Master Class 5-6:30pm, $100 for Adult Class 6:30-8pm, $40 for meet & greet, talk back & mini performance from 8-9pm, (students who register for class do not need to pay for the Meet & Greet, this portion is open to the public). Master Class with Constantine Maroulis: Prior to arriving to the 90min class, students will receive two short contrasting scenes and song selections from both Rock of Ages and Jeykll & Hyde on Broadway. It is suggested to become familiar with the material, if you have a book of songs or monologues we encourage you to bring it with. Maroulis has had extensive training at both the Boston Conservatory and the Williamstown Theatre Festival, students can expect to receive technical, practical and informative feedback based on their work. Be ready to learn, work hard and most importantly have fun!
