Cabaret Singer Pat Whiteman Makes NYC Debut 5/14

After enjoying back-to-back SRO performances at LA's famed Gardenia Supperclub with her latest show, Pat Whiteman makes her New York cabaret debut with "The Mood I'm In" on Saturday, May 14 at 9:30 p.m. at New York's Metropolitan Room. Broadway's Jason Graae directs Ms. Whiteman's act which Cabaret Scenes Magazine calls "a perfect cabaret show.," and Ms. Whiteman, "a powerful, evocative singer with enough acting chops to convey a range of varied emotions in any song."

In addition to cabaret, Ms. Whiteman has performed in such theatre productions as Pump Boys & Dinettes, Smoke On The Mountain, Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?, Nunsense II and Godspell, and is a sought-after performer for theater, benefits and corporate functions. Her voice has also been heard on national and regional commercial jingles. She attended the Cabaret Conference at Yale and is a private voice teacher and performance coach. She also served as a faculty member in the Entertainment Studies & Performance Arts Division of UCLA Extension.

Michele Brourman, who is also the musical director for Amanda McBroom, will accompany. The Metropolitan Room is located at 34 West 22nd St. in Manhattan.
