Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV) will be performing at the 'Anniversary Year' for Worldwide Orphans Foundations at their 10th annual gala November 17, 2014 at Cipriani at 7pm. Organizer of the evening is 3 time TONY winning Choreographer Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes, The Pajama Game). Katie Couric will be the gala host in addition to a multitude of other celebrities attending such as Rosie O'Donnell and Mary-Louis Parker.

BIV director and founder, TONY and Grammy nominee Michael McElroy supports the efforts of the WWO and their commitment to offering support to orphans and at-risk children. This is a platform that hits home for McElroy and the not-for-profit BIV as it is their mission to provide Hope, to Inspire and Transform youth through music.

Broadway Inspirational Voices was originally founded by Michael McElroy in 1994 as the Broadway Gospel Choir and in 1999 was reincarnated to its current form. In addition to numerous concerts, the group has performed on The Tonight Show, "The Rosie O'Donnell Christmas Special," Broadway Sings Elton John, The Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation Benefit, and multiple Tony Award show. The Broadway Inspirational Voices second album Great Joy: A Gospel Christmas was released on Sh-K-Boom Records in 2003 and received a Grammy Award nomination. The choir is also working on recording their second Christmas album, "Great Joy II: Around the World ". Find out more at www.broadwayinspirationalvoices.org.
