Roundabout Theatre Company has announced a recurring post-show event titled Beyond Glory's Declaration of Honor to publicly acknowledge the military service people who are deserving of honor.

Beginning Friday, June 29th, following the performance of the New York premiere of Beyond Glory, writer and star Stephen Lang will present a nominated military service person with a "Beyond Glory Declaration of Honor."

Members of the public can submit a family or friend who has served in the military to be eligible for a "Beyond Glory Declaration of Honor" by filling out a form on the Roundabout Theatre Company website: www.roundabouttheatre.org/honors.  The submission will be entered into a lottery.  The chosen service person will be offered four tickets to attend a Friday night performance with family members or friends and be acknowledged following the performance.

Todd Haimes says: "In Beyond Glory, Stephen Lang presents eight portraits of men who have received the nation's highest military honor creating a remarkable theatrical event.  With Stephen, we decided to create an opportunity to reach out to today's heroes who are not being recognized.  We want to identify the men and women who selflessly enlisted in the military to protect our country."

Beyond Glory, Stephen Lang's theatrical adaptation of Larry Smith's book, Beyond Glory: Medal of Honor Heroes in Their Own Words, is directed by Robert Falls.  "Mr. Lang presents the stories of eight veterans from World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, rendering first hand accounts of the actions which resulted in each of them receiving the nation's highest military award, the Medal of Honor," state press notes.  "Beyond Glory gathers these men together in the present to look back on the defining moments of their lives and to examine the meaning of courage, duty and, ultimately, humility."

Beyond Glory began previews on Friday, May 25th and opens officially on Thursday, June 21st, Off-Broadway at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street).  This is a limited engagement through August 19th, 2007.

Tickets are available by calling Roundabout Ticket Services at (212)719-1300, online at www.roundabouttheatre.org or at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre box office (111 West 46 Street).  Ticket prices range from $56.25-$66.25.
