Musical theatre actor Ben Roseberry has released an album of his own music as a project called The Fractured Years.

Through a crowdfunded campaign last year, Roseberry raised funds and set a goal to have a fully realized album by summer 2016. HIs music will be officially released on all formats, including iTunes, Amazon and Spotify on June 24, 2016.

The Fractured Years boasts many Broadway performers-Gerard Canonico (Spring Awakening, American Idiot, Dear Evan Hansen) on drums, Brandon Ellis (Once, Bandstand) on bass, Jeff Washburn on guitar and features Christine Dwyer (Wicked), Sophia Stephens (Lion King) and Maurice Murphy (Motown, Leap of Faith) on vocals.

"I'm inspired by artists like Martin Sexton, Billy Joel, Jason Robert Brown and Donny Hathaway, so my music borrows from the traditions of musical theatre narrative, singer-songwriter musicianship and classic soul," says Roseberry. "This album is the result of 20 years of writing, learning and creating. I really wanted to tell my stories without the constraints of the typical music industry molds, and I'm incredibly proud of the result."

Roseberry is currently performing in the first national tour of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder. Past credits include the Broadway and National Touring companies of The Lion King and the National Tour of Rent, as well as the original Off Broadway cast of Fugitive Songs.
