Featuring a bookby Hunter Bell with music and lyrics by Jeff Bowen, [title of show] is a musical comedy about two guys writing a musical about two guys writing a musical. The story is a semi-factual account about Bell and Bowen, who decide to enter a new musical theater festival with the deadline only three weeks away. Smart, funny, and tuneful."

[title of show] - taken from the space on the festival's application form that asks for the [title of show] - follows the group of friends as they venture through the gauntlet of creative self-expression. "[title of show] is really quite the amazing piece of theatre," said Director Scott Spence. "It deftly manages to appeal to both musical theatre aficionados as well as anyone who may be fascinated by how a new musical ascends the ranks." In the span of 90 minutes, they write and perform their show while learning lessons about themselves as people, friends, and artists. "At the heart of it all, it is purely a story about four good friends who team together and overcome tremendous odds. The best musicals are about people, and [title of show] does it brilliantly."
