TV: MATILDA Kids Get Naughty at Broadway in Bryant Park!

The best of Broadway will be performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that just kicked off this week, July 7 on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 16th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 11.

In attendance today was the cast of Matilda Matilda (Colin Israel, Jen Bowles, Joseph Medeiros, Marisa Kennedy, Michael Minarik, MJ Slinger, Sean Montgomery, Travis Waldschmidt, Wesley Faucher, Ava Briglia, Willow McCarthy, Aviva Winick, Akira Golz, Brooklyn Nelson, Cole Alex Edelstein, Evan Gray, Gavin Swartz, Gianina Paolantonio, Ian Saraceni, Kathryn Zimmer, Meliki Hurd, Noah Baird, Talia Ryder, Zoe Manarel) who performed the songs "Naughty," "When I Grow Up" and "Revolting Children."

Based on the 1988 children's novel by Roald Dahl, Matilda opened at the Shubert (located at 225 West 44th Street) on April 11, 2013. It features music and lyrics by Tim Minchin, book by Dennis Kelly and is directed by Matthew Warchus.
