One thing there are a lot of in Las Vegas is magicians. Most who enjoy those shows have heard of David Copperfield and Penn & Teller, who headline at their eponymous theaters at the MGM Grand and rhe Rio, respectively. The newest magician to have his own show at this own theater is 25 year-old Tommy Wind.

The show is called Tommy Wind: Music, Magic and More. The main selling point is not ginormous illusions or tricks we've never seen before. It is, rather, the magician himself. Eminently personable and charming, his enjoyment of what he does is palpable and that makes the show different from many others - most others - you'll see.

Joining him at times onstage are his mother and father "DJ Mom," and Tommy Riccardo. His mother, along with his fiancée Stacy, serves as an assistant and he and his dad perform a drum duet.

He is especially proficient at close up, sleight-of-hand magic.and his is one of the few notably family-friendly shows on The Strip.

Dark on Wednesdays the one-hour show plays from 7 to 8pm. Tickets areej General admission and are priced at $39.95 plus taxes and fees. Call the box office : (702) 776-8888 or go online at www.tommywindtheater.com.
