Ashley Chico Joins BAY RIDGE VOICE, 10/27

Ashley Chico – The 16-year-old Fort Hamilton High School student gained great acclaim as a leading performer in Teen Idol – has been dancing since she was five and singing since eighth grade. With J's New Dance Center, she toured locally in dance productions at festivals and community centers. She even sang solos at these festivals. Her first professional singing came in 2009 when she joined the Young Artists Program of Genesis Repertory. It was with that youth program that she appeared in Alice in Wonderland, Alice through the Looking Glass, and Peter Pan. As an original member of Bay Ridge Voice, Ashley hopes to cultivate her talents even more. She is even discussing recording her music in the near future.
