Olympic Moon Productions will present workshop performances of the new one woman show, I Will Wait For You, January 28 & 29 at 7pm at LA's El Portal Monroe Forum Theatre. Featuring 40's and 50's standards from the American songbook, this original "revuesical" is directed by Tony & Drama Desk nominee Patti Cohenour (Light in the Piazza, Phantom, Drood) and conceived with co-creators Melissa Kneisly and Christina Lynn Summers. Stage and screen actress Anna Aimee White (Grease, Valentine's Day) stars and Chris DiStefano music directs.

Set in San Francisco and spanning the turbulent years from World War II through the late Fifties, I Will Wait For You follows a beautiful club singer named Ellie, who, after finding herself abandoned by yet another man, again finds hope when she meets, Jake, the man of her dreams. Told through the eyes of Ellie, the story follows the journey of their love, loss and separation by war and their eventual reuniting years later.
I Will Wait For You is described as "an emotional musical journey, a walk from the frustration and loneliness of waiting for the right person to share your life with through the joy and belonging of true love found, embraced and deeply experienced."

Admission is free, but reservations are encouraged to this limited event. For tickets please visit: http://iwillwaitforyou.eventbrite.com.

Presentations will be held January 28 & 29 at 7pm at El Portal Monroe Forum Theatre, which is located at 5269 Lankershim Blvd. North Hollywood, CA 91601.
