Andrea McArdle, Christine Pedi and Lindsay Nicole Chambers Set for 54 Below Tonight, 7/15
Tonight, July 15, 54 BELOW, the new performance venue located just below legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street, welcomes Andrea McArdle (Annie, Beauty and the Beast), Christine Pedi (Newsical, Forbidden Broadway, Talk Radio) and Lindsay Nicole Chambers (Lysistrata Jones, Hairspray, Triassic Park) as the special guest stars at the venue’s weekly Backstage event. Susie Mosher (Hairspray, "The L Word") is this week’s host for Backstage.
On Sundays around 5pm, the theatre district is alive and abuzz with scores of hardworking actors who’ve just finished their workweeks with that final matinee before their day off. “Backstage” is a weekly Sunday evening event, from 5 – 7 p.m., where the theatre community can convene to relax and unwind - have a cocktail, enjoy the food of Chef Andre Marrero, and maybe get up and sing. This casual, social evening is a chance for us to welcome the theatre community for a few hours of fun and frolic at the end of an 8-show week.
“Backstage” is hosted by three of Broadway’s funniest talents - Brooks Ashmankas (The Producers, The Ritz, Gypsy), Ann Harada (Smash, Avenue Q, Seussical, 9 to 5) and Susie Mosher (Hairspray), who’ll keep the evening rolling along with special guest performers and wise and witty repartee from the world of The Great White Way.
All are welcome. There is no cover charge and a $15 food and beverage minimum for “Backstage.” For a detailed schedule of upcoming event at 54 Below and to purchase tickets, visit www.54Below.com or call (866) 468-7619.
