Agnes Obel's AVENTINE OCTOBER Out Today

Today, October 1st, internationally acclaimed singer songwriter Agnes Obel will release her sophomore album Aventine in the US on Play It Again Sam. With a debut album compared by critics to the likes of PJ Harvey, Joanna Newsom, and Roy Orbison, Agnes' sparse chamber folk has been lauded worldwide.

Originally from Copenhagen, Agnes has lived in Berlin since 2006, where Aventine was recorded at her Chalk Wood Studios between January and May this year.
