Legendary New Orleans soul singer Aaron Neville will headline the second annual WFUV High Line Bash on Friday, May 12, from 7-11 p.m.at Milk Studios, 450 West 15th Street in Chelsea. The moveable feast of music and food will also include performances in three beautiful loft spaces at Milk Studios by The Hold Steady leader and solo artist Craig Finn, singer-songwriter and visual artist Joseph Arthur, the jazz-inflected vocal group, The Hot Sardines, and country-rock singer Nikki Lane.

Once again, composer, arranger and keyboardist Joe McGinty will host the popular karaoke room, Joe McGinty's Superstar Piano Bar. All proceeds will benefit WFUV (90.7FM/wfuv.org), the public radio station which is New York's source for music discovery.

"We decided last year to try a different fundraising approach with the WFUV High Line Bash," said Chuck Singleton, WFUV's General Manager. "We wanted something more informal, fun, and accessible for music lovers, and the response was overwhelming positive. We're delighted to be back at the same amazing space at Milk Studios with an equally exciting lineup."

"Having an artist of Aaron Neville's stature headline the High Line Bash is a dream come true," added WFUV Program Director Rita Houston. "The rest of the lineup reflects the range of FUV's music mix, with artists of different ages and genres. We hope folks will check out all the performers and maybe give it a shot themselves in Joe McGinty's Superstar Piano Bar, which was one of last year's highlights."

In addition to the musical performances, and the food and drink, there will be a silent auction of collectibles, one of which will be a painting done by Joseph Arthur during his performance. For more information, including sponsorship opportunities, and to purchase tickets visit: wfuv.org/bash.
