Colin Quinn and Working Stiffs Productions will present All Dolled Up, a new comedy written by Bobby Spillane featuring John F. O'Donohue ("NYPD Blue"). Directed by Susan Campanaro, All Dolled Up will begin previews Off-Broadway at Theatre Row's Acorn Theatre (410 West 42nd Street) on Saturday, April 29, 2006. The limited engagement runs through Sunday, June 11. Opening is Sunday, May 7.

Set in the 1960s, the show "is based on the story of a real-life cross-dressing gangster. Written by actor and screenwriter Bobby Spillane, son of the legendary Westside 'Gentlemen Gangster' Michael 'Mickey' Spillane, All Dolled Up tells the story of Salvatore, a wiseguy from Bensonhurst who is trying to keep his newly discovered dressing fetish a secret from his associates. When his secret is out, the Italian Mafia and Greenwich Village's Gay Community come together in a hilarious scheme to keep 'Sally' alive," according to press notes.

All Dolled Up was originally presented last April at The Producers Club for a sold-out three-week run.

The show will star John F. O'Donohue (a retired NYPD Lieutenant best known for his role of Eddie Gibson on "NYPD Blue") and Michael Basile (a current member of FDNY who will be seen in the upcoming feature Where God Left His Shoes) as "Sally." The cast will also feature Tomm Bauer, Jennifer Blood, Jamie Bonelli, Matt Gallagher, Rocco Parente, Christo Parenti and Alyssa Truppelli.

All Dolled Up will feature scenic design by Kenny McDonough and Chris Wiggins, lighting design by Tim Stephenson (Emmy-winning lighting designer for "The Late Show with David Letterman") and Dana Giangrande, music and sound design by Alex Jost and videography by Billy Delace.

Beginning Saturday, April 29, All Dolled Up will play Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 8 pm, Saturday at 2:30 and 8 pm, and Sunday at 3:30 and 7 pm (dark on Tuesday). The running time for the show is 95 minutes (no intermission).

Tickets are $45 and are now available through ticketcentral.com or by calling 212-279-4200. Tickets are also currently available in person at The Theatre Row Box Office (410 West 42nd Street).
