Thanks for your continued support as we move into our fifth year and beyond and commemorate our 50th edition of...The Julesworks Follies #50 Blow Out Anniversary Commemoration will be on Tuesday May 9th at 8 PM at Le Jean Cocteau. Theatre, Music, Comedy, Literature and much much more from Julesworks Santa Fe's Monthly (Mostly) Variety Show, on-going for over five years.

The evening will present a flowing array of genres and wealth of talent including (in no determined order): troupe members Johny Broomdust, Chris Diestler, Ellchemi Michelle Ossorio, Yvette Michelle Martinez, & our youth outreach sensation Gabe as well as little bit from past members Stephen Rommel & Danette Sills plus for the first time joining is Rose Provan. Also set to perform are our resident musician Gregg Turner, and our loyal on off on again performer Experimentalist Andy Kirkpatrick as well as some literary outbursts by the likes of Janet Severance with Jules, and the return of musicIan Stuart Carruthers plus a special musical appearance by former troupe member Caitlin Alexander! And comedian James Peck returns, having performed around the country since his last stand up appearances with Julesworks. He also brings his Neighbor James to present a short bit during our Open Slot Slot in which other audience members can jump up at the end of the show to share a short performance piece.

The Core Troupe with help from some past and new friends, will commemorate 50 shows as Santa Fe's not quite monthly variety show. Toasting their roots and past creative outbursts with an array of original and source material melded into the likes of: Not Quite Monty Python Auditions, Ghost University, Seal Team 13: PSYCH CORPS!, plus CatTalk with GabeCat and Improv KnowItAll 3-Headed Cat, and favorite characters like Gladys from Pittsburgh & TheManSplainer.

Also, returning to a more longform format Rose Provan & Jules will present the short playlet GPS - An Auto Erotic Comedy by Bruce Kane, a professional writer who's work was found on the internet.

The show will be presented in a sort of MetaJulesworks construct to keep the flow. This time rather than a host introducing each piece, the performers will pop up to add some stickiness to the show's entirety.

And music will be interspersed throughout the night by resident musician Gregg Turner, Stuart Carruthers, Johny Broomdust & Friends, & Caitlin Alexander.

Tickets are $10 General Admission and just $7 for members, including a ticket to the Julesworks Raffle or door prizes and available now at www.jeancocteaucinema.com.

All performers and artists, as well as anyone interested in helping behind the scenes, are encouraged to submit possible show ideas to Jules at: srubinfilms@gmail.com Julesworks will continue to stage their show roughly every six weeks so stay tuned for the announcement of the next date and theme.
