
Shakespeare & Company’s nationally recognized Education Program actively, engagingly, and personally meaningfully immerses students in the world of Shakespeare and classical theater. Since the program was founded in 1978, nearly one million elementary, middle, and high school students have participated. Programs include Riotous Youth summer theater programs for children and teens ages 7 – 15; Shakespeare & Young Company for students 17 – 19, and the Northeast Regional Tour of Shakespeare, which brings touring productions and workshops to communities across the region as well as offering sensory-friendly and open-captioned matinees at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Mass. All of these programs offer public performances that are low-cost or free to attend.
